Singer Kid Rock 'beyond devastated' by death of his personal assistant

Kid Rock has paid an emotional tribute to his personal assistant, following his death in Nashville.




His assistant Mike Sacha was killed in an accident involving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) at a suburban Nashville property belonging to the singerWriting on his official website, Kid said he was “beyond devastated”.

He wrote: “He was a member of our family and one of the greatest young men I have ever had the pleasure to not only work with, but also to become friends with. I know I speak for us all in sharing my deepest condolences to his family.


“I can not imagine how they must feel. Myself, the band, our family, friends and co-workers are devastated over this loss. We were supposed to be back in Michigan today, but I am going to stay here with Mike until I can bring him home to his family“We’ve already been contacted by the press asking if it was me who was in the accident, so I want to stop any rumours before they spread. I’m asking everyone to please respect our and his families’ privacy in this difficult time. RIP Mike. We will never forget you, my friend.”

The Tennessean reports 30-year-old Michael Sacha was found lying face down on the side of a driveway of Kid’s White Creek house early on Monday morning.

Nashville Fire Department spokesman Brian Haas told The Tennessean that Sacha was deceased by the time the department arrived.

A news release from the Metro Nashville Police Department says the accident happened when Sacha drove two people down the driveway to meet an Uber driver at midnigh.
